About Dr Marion:

Dr Marion Roberts (PhD, MClinPsych, BSc(Hons) 1st, BSc) is a Registered Clinical Psychologist, academic, and breast cancer survivor. She holds a PhD in Psychological Medicine from King’s College London, a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland (Aotearoa New Zealand).

Across her academic and clinical career, Marion has focused on developing, evaluating and translating evidence-based psychological interventions into practice. She has published more than 60 peer-reviewed research papers and regularly presents nationally and internationally on psychological research and clinical practice.

Alongside her academic role, Marion is the Director and Principal Clinical Psychologist of a multi-site private psychology practice, where she has spent more than two decades supporting people facing complex mental and physical health challenges, while also supervising and training psychologists.

Following her own breast cancer diagnosis at age 40, Marion developed a special interest in accesible psychological support across breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. Today, she combines clinical expertise, academic research and lived experience to create practical, compassionate and evidence-informed resources to help women navigate one of life’s most challenging experiences.
